Meet Our Admin Team
Our Principal
Angie Pacholke

I am humbled and honored to serve as the principal of Freeman’s Mill Elementary School. FMES is an outstanding school that has benefited from strong leadership and a caring, dedicated team of teachers and staff. As a staff, we believe in our students and community, and we are committed to ensuring that our students reach their highest potential.
I started my teaching career in Indiana in 1994. My family moved to Gwinnett County in 2001, and I served as a 5th grade teacher. I was appointed Assistant Principal at Riverside Elementary in 2002 and served for five years before being named the Principal of Rock Springs Elementary in 2007. I began serving as the Principal at Freeman’s Mill Elementary in 2012.
On a personal note, I love spending time with my family! I am very proud of my daughter, who is a GCPS teacher. I am a huge sports fan and always cheer for my Ohio State Buckeyes! I love to travel, visit the beach, and attend sporting events.
I firmly believe that every child can thrive and exceed our expectations when we build a relationship of cooperation between the school and the home. Building that relationship allows us a chance to build trust, which translates into success for our students. I know that students and parents don’t care what we know until they know that we care.
