Meet Our Admin Team
Our Principal
Angie Pacholke
I am humbled and honored to serve as the principal of Freeman’s Mill Elementary School. FMES is an outstanding school that has benefited from strong leadership and caring, dedicated teachers and staff. We as a staff believe in our students and community, and we are committed to ensuring our students reach their highest potential.
I started my teaching career in Indiana in 1994. My family moved to Gwinnett County in 2001 and I served as a 5th grade teacher. I was appointed as Assistant Principal at Riverside Elementary in 2002 and served there for 5 years before being named the Principal of Rock Springs Elementary in 2007. I began serving as the Principal at Freeman’s Mill Elementary in 2012.
On a personal note, I love spending time with my family! I am very proud of my daughter who is a GCPS teacher. I am a huge sports fan and always cheer for my Ohio State Buckeyes! I love to travel, visit the beach, and attend sporting events.
I firmly believe that every child can thrive and exceed our expectations when we build a relationship of cooperation between the school and the home. Building that relationship allows us a chance to build trust which translates into success for our students. I know that students and parents don’t care what we know, until they know that we care.
